Catch 1 Billion Ducks Getting Started Guide
Catch 1 Billion Ducks by Billion Duck Hunters is a duck-hunting incremental simulator. Each in-game day you shoot ducks by the pond, your dog fetches them into the freezer, you sell the haul for cash, and every night ends with a giant boss duck that pays Feathers. Feathers unlock weapons; cash upgrades everything else.
This guide covers the durable loop and honest early priorities. Exact prices are community-observed — verify live values in-game. [Unverified details are marked.]
The loop in one minute
- Shoot ducks around the pond during daytime.
- Fetch: your dog runs out, grabs downed ducks and brings them back (upgrade Capacity so he carries more than one).
- Store fetched ducks in the Freezer.
- Sell at the freezer to convert ducks into Cash.
- Upgrade weapon stats and dog stats with cash.
- Boss fight at night (or hit Skip Day when you’re ready) — earn Feathers for performance.
- Spend Feathers in the lobby on new weapons; repeat deeper into the run.
First-session priorities
- Claim Jeff — join the Billion Duck Hunters group and claim the free dog before anything else.
- Buy the Hunting Rifle (15 Feathers) after your first boss kill. It’s the cheapest power spike in the game.
- Upgrade fire rate / reload first, damage second. Faster shooting means more ducks per flock window and shorter boss fights.
- Dog Capacity + Walk Speed next: a dog that hauls three birds per trip triples your effective income.
- Don’t hoard ducks overnight — sell after each day; unsold freezer slots are wasted capacity.
Surviving night bosses
- Bosses telegraph attacks late in their animation — strafe sideways, not backwards.
- HP regenerates slowly out of combat: retreat briefly instead of dying at 10% health.
- Skip Day jumps straight to the boss — use it once your damage one-shots regular ducks.
- If a boss flies or teleports (Void line onward), bring an automatic weapon rather than a shotgun.
What not to waste Robux on
The game sells VIP Freezer, Starter Pack, Pet Slot and feather bundles. None of them are required — progression works free-to-play. The only paid convenience worth considering is the extra pet slot if you want two dogs farming at once.
