Duck Value List

Not all ducks pay the same. Sell prices are not officially published, but full gameplay runs give a consistent community ordering. Treat exact numbers as unverified; the ordering itself held across multiple recorded runs.

Value ordering (community-observed)

From most to least valuable:

1. Rainbow Ducks — endgame jackpot; one catch outearns a freezer of mallards
2. Rubber Ducks
3. Ghost Ducks
4. Void Ducks
5. Goat Ducks
6. Everything earlier — Golden, Silver, Chinese Goose, Wigeon, Mallard

New since the Aug 23 Classes update: Doodle Duck and Impostor Duck are officially placed above the BBQ Duck tier — among the rarest birds in the game. Their sell values aren’t documented yet, so they sit outside the ranking above until community data lands; if you see one, shoot it first.

How new species unlock

Species unlock automatically as you survive more days in a single run (“New species unlocked” banner). Silver Ducks were the first observed unlock (~day 7), followed through Ghost → Golden → Void → Rubber → Rainbow as days stack up. Deeper runs = richer ponds.

Target priority when the flock arrives

Flock events flood the map with birds while your dog’s capacity stays fixed. Priority order:

1. Any premium species on screen (Rainbow/Rubber/Ghost)
2. The highest-tier unlocked species available
3. Chinese Goose over mallards whenever both are in range
4. Plain mallards only when nothing better is falling

Mad ducks warning

During Mad Ducks events birds turn aggressive and attack instead of waddling. They still sell normally once caught, but don’t chase a premium bird into a pack of mad ones at low HP — dying drops more income than any single duck earns.
